Slash commands
The bot registers one root command, /roundtable unless you set discord.rootCommand.
Every feature that has commands adds subcommands under that root, so the command list stays in one place.
The root command works in the server and in a direct message with the bot.
Its description reads <name> control panel (owner only) in English, where <name> is the name setting.
With locale: "zh-TW" the descriptions below are in Traditional Chinese.
Commands the core registers
Section titled “Commands the core registers”The core registers one subcommand group, schedule.
| Command | Description | Who may use it |
|---|---|---|
/roundtable schedule list |
List the schedules of every channel | Owner |
/roundtable schedule cancel id:<schedule> |
Cancel a schedule | Owner |
The group itself is described as Schedules, and the id option of cancel as The schedule to cancel.
The id option is required and completes as you type, listing each schedule as #<id> <title> (<recurrence>).
schedule list
Section titled “schedule list”list shows every schedule in every channel.
Each entry gives the schedule’s id, title, channel, target, how it repeats, when it runs next, who set it, and when it last ran with the outcome.
When there are none, it says No schedules right now.
The footer points out that schedules are created and edited by the bot in conversation, and that this command is for reviewing and cancelling them.
schedule cancel
Section titled “schedule cancel”cancel deletes the chosen schedule and shows it once more under the title Schedule cancelled.
If the value is not a number it answers Pick a schedule from the list.
If no schedule has that id it answers There is no schedule #<id>.
To create or change a schedule, ask an agent; see Schedules and background work.
Who may use them
Section titled “Who may use them”Only the owner can use /roundtable, checked by Discord user id.
Every answer is visible only to the person who ran the command.
Anyone else gets a panel titled Owner only that says /roundtable is the control panel of the assistant’s owner, followed by whatever you set in discord.refusalHint.
Autocomplete offers a non-owner no choices.
The core’s commands are for the owner alone; admins and members talk to the agents in their channels instead.
See Access tiers.
Buttons that are not commands
Section titled “Buttons that are not commands”Two things in Discord answer clicks but are not slash commands:
- The cards for held actions and
ask_userquestions. Their buttons areRunandCancel, or the answer options. See Access tiers for who may answer. - The
Stopbutton on a long turn. Only the owner can press it. It answersStopped., orNothing is running right now.when the turn has already ended, orOnly <name>'s owner can stop it.to anyone else.
Commands from plugins
Section titled “Commands from plugins”A plugin adds its own subcommands under the root, and may add top-level commands of its own, with commands.add from setup.
A name used twice, or a plugin that registers the root itself, stops the start with a message that names the command.
See What plugins can add.
The agent panel is not registered by default.
pi-roundtable/discord exports agentPanel, which builds the panel of an agent for a plugin that adds a subcommand for it.
